About the Role

We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist to work on building the governance, quality, and traceability layer of regulatory data required by the Joint Resolution BACEN No. 18. This professional will act at the intersection of data, regulation, and technology, implementing data dictionaries, end-to-end lineage, and quality rules in the client's governance tools: Informatica Cloud, OpenMetadata, and Great Expectations. The person will be responsible for translating regulatory requirements from the 12 quality dimensions of RC 18 into operationalized matching rules, auditable evidence, and continuous monitoring dashboards.

Main Responsibilities

Structure governance roles (Data Owner, Data Steward, Data Custodian) and RACI models by regulatory domain.
Build and maintain a regulatory data dictionary and business glossary with terms from RC 18.
Implement a data catalog and technical end-to-end lineage (source → transformation → submission to Bacen) in the designated environment tool.
Specify and configure quality rules and blocking pre-submission validations, covering the 12 mandatory dimensions of RC 18.
Conduct unit tests of developed rules and validate results against specifications approved by the client.
Build and maintain data quality dashboards and scorecards for continuous monitoring and proactive anomaly detection.
Conduct interviews and discovery sessions with areas such as Regulatory, Accounting, AML, Fraud, Audit, and IT.
Act in a multidisciplinary squad (Data Architect, Data Engineers, SAP specialists) following the project wave delivery model.
Perform knowledge transfer (workshops, technical handover) to the client's internal teams.

Required Qualifications

Solid experience in data governance, data quality, and data lineage in medium/large complexity projects.
Practical knowledge of at least one of the following toolsets: Informatica Cloud (CDGC, IDQ, CDI); or OpenMetadata + Great Expectations + AWS Glue/Airflow.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK) and roles and responsibilities (RACI) models.
Familiarity with SQL for validation, profiling, and reconciliation of data between systems.
Experience in regulated environments, preferably financial institutions or payment methods.
Ability to communicate with business, regulatory, audit, and IT areas, and document processes in Portuguese.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS (EMR, S3, Athena, Glue), PySpark, and payment architectures.
Knowledge of Central Bank regulations (CADOC, SCR, AML/FT, Open Finance) and GRC tools (RSA Archer or similar).
Certifications such as DAMA CDMP, AIGP (IAPP), or equivalents in data governance/privacy.
Previous experience in regulatory compliance projects with schedules and wave deliveries.
