Responsibilities and Duties

• Act on the development, maintenance, and evolution of complex corporate systems;
• Develop end-to-end solutions, covering backend, frontend, databases, and integrations;
• Design, code, and maintain applications using best practices of object-oriented development;
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs;
• Work on the modeling, manipulation, and evolution of relational databases;
• Implement automated tests and support quality assurance processes;
• Participate in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) initiatives;
• Work in agile environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams;
• Support deployment processes using container and orchestration technologies;
• Contribute to the security, performance, and scalability of applications.

Requirements and Qualifications

Necessary Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or degree in any field plus a postgraduate degree in IT;
• Experience with programming in Java;
• Experience with the Apache Wicket framework;
• Knowledge in object-oriented development;
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, and Maven;
• Experience with frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Bootstrap, Node.js, and NPM;
• Knowledge in web standards, HTTP protocol, REST, JAX-RS, and API management;
• Experience with practices and technologies for automated testing;
• Knowledge in versioning using Git and Gitflow;
• Experience with Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes;
• Experience with agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban;
• Knowledge in relational databases using SQL;
• Knowledge in modeling using UML and Entity-Relationship Model (ERM).
