Responsibilities and Assignments

Elaborate, document, and maintain scenarios, cases, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
Plan and execute functional, integrated, regression, exploratory, acceptance, and when applicable, non-functional tests.
Develop, maintain, and execute test automation scripts, contributing to the evolution of the automation strategy.
Prepare and manage data sets and environments for test execution.
Validate functionalities of applications, corporate portals, and CMS solutions, ensuring adherence to business requirements.
Identify, record, track, and validate the correction of defects, performing retests when necessary.
Analyze evidence and logs to support the identification of the root cause of failures.
Work together with development teams, business, architecture, UX/UI, and Product Owners to ensure the quality of deliveries.
Ensure traceability of tests, documentation of evidence, and compliance with quality processes.
Support the definition of acceptance criteria, review of requirements, and identification of risks.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and testing practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience in validating web applications, preferably corporate portals and CMS solutions.
Experience with test management tools, evidence recording, and defect tracking.
Experience with demand management tools, such as Jira or similar.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data.
Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments, using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
Desirable:
Experience in validating solutions developed in HCL Digital Experience (DX), HCL Web Content Manager (WCM), or other corporate portal platforms.
Knowledge in REST API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
Experience with test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Robot Framework.
Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python to support analysis, automation, and investigation of failures.
Experience with performance testing using Apache JMeter or equivalent tools.
Ability to analyze logs, identify the root cause of defects, and technically support the development team in problem investigation.
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge in security testing tools, such as HCL AppScan.

Differentials

ISTQB Foundation or higher certification.
Certifications in test automation.
Certifications in agile methodologies (PSM I, CSM, PMI-ACP or similar).
Certifications in HCL Software products, especially HCL Digital Experience (DX).

Academic Background

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related areas.
