The person who will work on the Incident Response team will be responsible for acting and improving processes related to detection, analysis, and mitigation of cybersecurity incidents. This role involves a sense of ownership and leadership in the topic, ensuring efficiency in response and continuous improvement of workflows.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinate the operations of the Security Operations Center, ensuring continuous monitoring, rapid response, and alignment with the company's security policies;
Evaluate and optimize incident response processes, implementing automations, playbooks, and metrics to increase efficiency and reduce response time;
Conduct detailed analyses of incidents, identifying root causes, impacts, and proposing corrective and preventive measures;
Manage SIEM, SOAR solutions, and other monitoring tools, ensuring integration and effectiveness in threat detection;
Work with cybersecurity defense teams, GRC, IAM, and infrastructure to coordinate actions during incidents and improve overall security posture;
Prepare technical and executive reports on incidents, trends, and improvements implemented;
Train SOC analysts and others involved in best practices for incident response and tool usage;
Stay updated on new attack techniques, response frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK), and market trends.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields;
Solid experience in incident response, SOC management, and investigation of complex incidents;
Knowledge of EDR/XDR (Microsoft Defender and Crowdstrike);
Knowledge of SOAR and process automation;
Knowledge of network protocols;
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST frameworks;
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation;
Knowledge of security in public clouds (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), including native detection and protection tools, log management in cloud environments, and understanding of the shared responsibility model;
Ability to correlate events, identify patterns, and propose effective strategies;
Skill to present clear and detailed reports for technical and executive audiences;
Commitment to continuous learning and participation in training and conferences;
Collaboration with different areas to ensure coordinated responses.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CEH, COMPTIA, SC-200 and cloud security certifications;
Knowledge of SIEM (Azure Sentinel).
