This is a full-time remote position for a Mid-Level Data Analyst at Afya. Your main objective will be to analyze and model data, develop dashboards and indicators in Power BI, ensuring quality, clarity, and governance of information.

Responsibilities

How You Will Transform Health Day by Day:

Analyze, interpret, and transform data into strategic information to support decision-making in business areas.
Develop predictive models using Data Science and Machine Learning techniques to support forecasts and strategic decisions.
Prepare indicators and analytical reports that provide visibility into key business results.
Apply best practices in data modeling (Star Schema, dimensions, facts, and SCDs), promoting scalability of analytical solutions.
Build, evolve, and maintain dashboards and panels in Power BI, ensuring quality, performance, and better visualization experience.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and optimization).
Experience with Git (code versioning and collaboration best practices).
Solid experience in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visualization best practices).
Knowledge in data modeling (Star Schema, dimensions and facts, SCDs).
Knowledge in Python for data analysis, data manipulation, and developing analytical models.
Knowledge in applied statistics and exploratory data analysis.
Experience or knowledge in supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning techniques.
Ability to tell stories with data and present insights clearly.
Experience in Data Warehouse and/or Data Lake environments.

Differentials

Experience with DBT and/or Databricks.
Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
Knowledge in MLOps, MLflow, or deployment of Machine Learning models.
Experience in data governance and Self Service BI.
Knowledge in Feature Engineering and evaluation of predictive models.
Knowledge in Generative AI, LLMs, and applications with language models.
