Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop, maintain, and evolve frameworks and scripts for regression test automation in high platform (Mainframe) and low platform environments;
• Plan, create, and execute automated tests for Cobol applications (batch/jobs processes and online systems) and .NET applications (APIs, services, and console applications);
• Validate business flows, systemic integrations, and critical processes, ensuring the stability and quality of deliveries;
• Perform validations and queries in DB2 and SQL Server databases for business rules validation and data consistency;
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, supporting development teams in the investigation and resolution of problems;
• Participate in defining testing strategies, promoting best practices in automation and software quality;
• Work together with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development cycle, contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Solid experience with functional and regression test automation in highly critical corporate environments;
• Experience in creating, maintaining, and optimizing automated test scenarios;
• Knowledge of Mainframe systems, with experience in applications developed in Cobol (online and batch/jobs);
• Experience with applications developed in .NET, including APIs, services, and console applications;
• Knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server databases, with the ability to create queries and validate data;
• Experience in validating integrations between systems and API testing;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and software quality practices;
• Analytical skills for identifying faults, investigating root causes, and proposing improvements;
• Experience with test automation in Front-end/Web applications;
• Knowledge of continuous integration and DevOps tools;
• Experience in projects within the banking, financial sector, or in mission-critical environments;
• Knowledge of performance testing and API quality.
