The Global Youth Organization (GYO) is currently selecting volunteers for the positions of Educational Partnerships Coordinator and Deputy Educational Partnerships Coordinator, part of the Education Directorate. The Educational Partnerships Coordination is responsible for the institutional articulation of GYO with schools, universities, federal institutes, research centers, civil society organizations, international bodies, foundations, companies, and other educational institutions, aiming to expand training opportunities, academic cooperation, and internationalization for youth. Its role is strategic for strengthening the organization’s cooperation network, promoting the celebration of agreements, contracts, memoranda of understanding, and other partnership instruments that contribute to the development of GYO's educational programs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the activities of the Educational Partnerships Coordination;
  • Prospect and establish partnerships with educational and research institutions and national and international organizations;
  • Prepare cooperation proposals, official letters, institutional letters, memoranda of understanding, cooperation agreements, and other institutional documents;
  • Support the negotiation and formalization of academic and educational cooperation agreements;
  • Develop strategies to expand GYO's network of partners;
  • Represent GYO institutionally in meetings, events, and agendas related to education and institutional cooperation;
  • Maintain continuous relationships with strategic partners;
  • Work together with other coordinations of the Education Directorate to create opportunities for youth;
  • Prepare reports, indicators, and plans for expanding institutional partnerships.

Responsibilities of the Deputy Coordinator

  • In addition to collaborating in all activities of the Coordination, the Deputy Coordinator will;
  • Provide direct support to the Coordinator;
  • Substitute the Coordinator in their absences or impediments;
  • Assist in the articulation with national and international partners;
  • Monitor the execution of actions and goals of the Coordination;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of institutional documents and in the development of new cooperation opportunities.

Desired Profile

  • Interest or experience in institutional relations, education, international cooperation, project management, or the third sector;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Ease of negotiation and building partnerships;
  • Organization, proactivity, and strategic vision;
  • Ability to represent the organization institutionally;
  • Interest in education, internationalization, and youth development.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote volunteer work;
  • Average commitment of 6 to 8 hours per week;
  • Flexible hours;
  • Participation in periodic online meetings and institutional events when necessary.

  • 01 (one) position for Educational Partnerships Coordinator;
  • 01 (one) position for Deputy Educational Partnerships Coordinator.
