ServiceNow Discovery Administrator

We are seeking a ServiceNow Discovery Administrator to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of ServiceNow Discovery as part of building and strengthening our ServiceNow platform foundation. This role is critical to ensure accurate discovery of IT infrastructure and delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

The initial engagement is expected to be one year; however, candidates who demonstrate strong performance, commitment, and alignment with our values may be considered for long-term retention or a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and administer ServiceNow Discovery to accurately identify and map IT infrastructure assets.
• Participate in platform setup activities as we establish and mature our ServiceNow environment.
• Perform discovery of IT assets including servers, switches, routers, storage, firewalls, VPNs, and related infrastructure components.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CMDB.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams to validate discovered data and resolve discrepancies.
• Support and participate in training sessions related to ServiceNow Discovery.
• Troubleshoot discovery-related issues and optimize discovery processes.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide a high level of customer service, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism.

Language Requirements

• Spanish: Required (implementation and training will be conducted in Spanish; the platform supports Spanish).
• English: Technical-level proficiency required, as some ServiceNow University training materials and documentation are available only in English.

Required Qualifications

• Experience administering or supporting ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience with Modules: Discovery & Service Mapping.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including:
• Servers
• Network devices (switches, routers)
• Storage systems
• Firewalls and VPNs
• Solid knowledge of IT operations and enterprise environments.
• Ability to follow technical documentation in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
