Financial Associate

Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Finance Specialist to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing financial records, reconciling transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will support day-to-day financial operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and compliant manner.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting is required.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel is necessary for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities is essential.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards is preferred.
